Kartik in Cosmic Chaos

Hosted by: Jigyasa Jyotika Join us for the book signing of Kartik in Cosmic Chaos with the author Jigyasa. About the book: Kartik’s journey through space begins as an adventure but slowly becomes a quiet challenge to everything he believes about intelligence, emotion, and life. As he encounters alien worlds and unfamiliar minds, he is forced to rethink his deeply human way of seeing the universe. Guided by curiosity as much as confusion, Kartik moves through strange planets, unexpected friendships, and encounters that are at once funny, unsettling, and deeply humane. Science runs through the stories like a living thread, shaping a future that feels imaginative yet strangely possible. Witty, warm, and thought-provoking, these futuristic short stories invite readers to laugh, wonder, and question what it truly means to understand another being—even one that is alien. Written for readers aged 12 and above. About the author: Jigyasa studied Neuroscience at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, before finding her way into science writing—and eventually fiction. A freelance science writer for over a decade, she blends scientific insight with imagination. Her literary work has appeared in The Hindu and the literary magazine Muse India.
