Vikalp Bengaluru Presents

Flying Tigers A film by Madhusree Dutta 105 minutes | 2026 | Bengali, English, Mandarin, German with English subtitles The term Flying Tigers originates from a massive US military logistical operation connecting India and China across Himalayas during World War II. This story resurfaced after 70 years, when mother of the director was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and kept saying - Close the Windows / Tiger is Coming. The film traces various renditions of flying tiger by permeating through memories of territories, wars, and infrastructure projects. Following the il-logic of Alzheimer’s disease the film insistently shifts between lenses and perspectives, and slides across locations. The screening will be followed by a QnA session with Director, Madhusree Dutta. For event related enquiries please contact 9845766808
