Kathegalu with Aunty Lakshmi

Patio, Science Gallery Bengaluru (At SGB) View Directions Lakshmi Selvakumaran Kathegalu with Aunty Lakshmi is an afternoon of read-aloud stories, songs, movement, and laughter for children aged 2–10 and their accompanying adults. Across four 30-minute sessions, Aunty Lakshmi from Kadhaigal will bring Indian children’s books to life through stories of empathy, curiosity, humour, and wonder. Expect lots of fun and play rather than a sit-still-and-listen story session: children can sing, move, respond, imagine, and enjoy stories together. This is the first event in a new collaboration between Curious Wednesdays @ Kadhaigal and Science Gallery Bengaluru’s Co-Series programme—creating welcoming public spaces to read, make, question, and explore ideas together.
