Zine & Tell

Art Workshop Hosted by: Mehreen Ahmed Zine & Tell is a fun, hands-on afternoon of making, exploring and getting a little creative. A zine is a small, self-published magazine that can be about absolutely anything — your interests, thoughts, stories, favourite things, random obsessions or little pieces of your world. We’ll take a quick look at where zines came from and how people have used them as a way to express themselves, share ideas and tell stories outside the usual rules of publishing. Then, you’ll get to create your very own zine, bringing together all the things that make you — through writing, doodling, cutting, pasting, illustrating and a little bit of everything in between. There’s no right way to make a zine and definitely no artistic skills required. Just come with an open mind, explore your creativity, meet some new people and maybe leave with a few new friends (and your very own little magazine!)
